The Bank of Zachary: Proud and Productive Member of the Community.
We take our commitment to the communities we serve very seriously. The Bank of Zachary is, first and foremost, a community bank. Our Directors and Staff all live in the communities that we serve. The community’s interests and our interests are inextricably linked. For over a century, the Bank of Zachary has championed countless civic and charitable causes, and our outstanding staff carries on the tradition in the current generation.
All companies should be judged not only by how well they meet the needs of their customers, but also by what they do to improve the communities in which they do business. We strive to be the type of business that the community can be proud of.
Zachary Chamber of Commerce
The Bank was a founding member of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce, and is a very active member today. Six officers of the Bank have served as President of the Zachary Chamber.
City of Central Chamber of Commerce
We are a proud member of the Central Chamber of Commerce as well, and lend our support to its efforts to grow the commercial base of the City of Central.
Zachary Community School System
The Bank of Zachary has always been a supporter of Zachary schools, predating current memory. We were a critical partner in the formation of the Zachary Community School System, devoting time and resources to the fledgling organization. As the Zachary Community School System has grown into the model of success, the Bank of Zachary has lent its support every step of the way. We maintain a close relationship with the school support group FAZE (Foundation Assisting Zachary Education), regularly providing volunteer leadership, accommodations, as well as financial resources.
Cooking in Central
The citizens of Central are committed to helping others in need. Participation in the annual Cooking in Central enhances the ability to show others what people can do when they work for a common cause. The Bank of Zachary is part of this commitment to enable the City of Central to raise the bar and reach even loftier goals.
Lane Regional Medical Center Foundation
For more than fifty years, our community has enjoyed the ever-expanding services of Lane Regional Medical Center. The Bank of Zachary is a proud supporter of Lane and its mission to provide quality healthcare services to meet the needs of the community. The LaneRMC Foundation provides an avenue for community involvement, public education and philanthropic giving to help Lane Regional Medical Center provide life-saving services and technologies.
American Cancer Society's Relay for Life
The Bank is an active participant in the American Cancer Society’s annual Relay for Life in both Zachary and Central. Volunteers from the Bank of Zachary are always present during the special events held to raise funds and awareness in the battle against cancer and birth defects. The Bank lends its support to numerous other charitable events all throughout the year.
Veteran's Day Flag Raising
The Bank of Zachary Veteran’s Day Flag Raising has become an annual tradition for the City of Zachary. Acting on a suggestion from employees, the Bank continues this special event in front of the Main Office in Zachary honoring all United States veterans with a dignified Flag Raising ceremony. In 2016, on it's eight anniversary, the ceremony was moved to the site of the newly completed Regional Veterans Park on the campus of Lane Regional Medical Center. Local veterans, along with the Zachary High Junior ROTC, Band and Choir, have made this a very special event.
